Internal Family Systems
Informed Therapy
It’s for you if:
-
You feel torn between different parts of yourself (e.g., logical vs. emotional)
-
You experience strong inner critics, shame, or self-blame
-
Past trauma still feels “alive” in your present
-
You want deeper self-understanding and compassion
-
You feel stuck in repeating emotional patterns
What is Internal Family Systems?
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a trauma-informed therapy that views the mind as made up of different “parts,” each with its own role and intention. Rather than pathologizing symptoms, IFS helps you build a compassionate relationship with these parts. Through this process, healing occurs by accessing your core Self—calm, curious, and grounded. IFS is especially effective for trauma, anxiety, depression, and identity work. It gently supports healing without forcing you to relive painful experiences.
