About the event
Many individuals in our community are experiencing increased stress, fear, and anxiety due to recent immigration policies and ICE activity. This group offers a supportive environment to help stabilize the body and mind during times of uncertainty.
Purpose
This group uses the ASSYST Protocol (Acute Stress Syndrome Stabilization) — a research-based, low-intensity method designed to reduce emotional and physical distress after a stressful or traumatic experience.
The goal is to help participants feel calmer, more grounded, and better able to manage ongoing stress.
